They are currently recruiting a Junior /  Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer with 2 years plus experience. The role will cover various sectors including but not limited to commercial, residential, data centres, sport and leisure, MOD.

Preparation of design calculations on industry standard software

Preparation of technical specifications, preparing and drafting of drawings

Preparing reports and contract documents

Undertake design preparation and calculations

Undertaking work on site such as building services system inspections, site surveys and contract supervision

Communicating with suppliers, client meetings, contractors, the public and other engineers. Able to understand and express technical concepts in written and verbal language

Analysing problems and developing innovative solutions and advising technicians on detailing Compliance with Health and Safety, environmental and business procedures

Provide technical support to the Mechanical &Electrical Team Maintaining records and archives to company standards

Able to manage project fee budgets Must be eligible for security clearance

Proficient in the design of electrical building services, working towards Incorporated and Chartered engineer status with membership of IET or CIBSE

Conversant use of building services software Amtech, Relux ,Dialux, and Microsoft packages Good level of computer literacy in windows 

Ability to produce electrical design calculations for lighting and security alarm systems.
